Prusa - Prusament PP Carbon Fiber Black 650g

Prusament PP Carbon Fiber Black is our own in-house made Polypropylene filament filled with carbon fibers.

The whole manufacturing process is closely monitored and tested - Prusa guarantee ±0.04mm precision.

Prusament PP Carbon Fiber is a lightweight material with exceptional chemical resistance. It resists various solvents, non-oxidized bases and acids, and oils. The high chemical resistance makes it perfectly suitable for printing laboratory equipment, various parts in the automotive industry, and more. Its lightweight properties also make it suitable for the aerospace industry, as well as for use in hobby RC aircraft.

Printing Setup

• Nozzle 270±10 °C
• Heatbed 85±10 °C
• Recommended Steel Sheet : PP print sheet

Basic Attributes

• High-temperature resistance (up to 120 °C)
• Very good chemical resistance
• Lightweight material
• Visually appealing matt black surface
• Great dimensional stability – possible to print large models without an enclosure
• Uses recycled carbon fibers from the manufacturing process
• Drying not necessary
• A special print sheet (or separation layer) is required
• Requires hardened nozzle
• Lower layer-to-layer adhesion compared to pure PP
