The Original Prusa XL has been designed with easy upgradeability in mind. Install one of the upgrade packages toĀ increase the number of available toolheadsĀ and expand your 3D printing options.

With a toolchanger in place and multiple toolheads, you canĀ preload various filaments and combine themĀ in a single print. With smart object designs, you canĀ minimize the number of supportsĀ and even print with no waste whatsoever - no wipe tower, no filament scraps around the printer. Say goodbye to plastic waste that is heavier than the main printed object!

The combination of multiple filaments allows you toĀ save precious materialĀ - for example, you can print the main object fromĀ PCCF filament and the supports from PLAĀ which brings considerable cost savings!
